Facebook often shows a readable username in a page URL while integrations, analytics tools, and debugging workflows ask for the underlying numeric profile or page ID. This finder accepts a public Facebook URL, username, numeric ID, or profile.php?id link and returns the ID when it is present in the URL or available public metadata. It also shows the normalized handle and profile URL so you can verify that the result belongs to the page you intended.

The lookup is limited to information Facebook exposes publicly. Private, restricted, region-limited, login-gated, or anti-bot-protected pages may not resolve, and a missing result does not mean the account does not exist. Toolsly sends only the public URL needed for the lookup, does not sign in to Facebook, and does not store the URL or result.

Can this find the ID of a private Facebook profile?

No. The finder only uses the URL and metadata available on public pages. It cannot bypass privacy settings, login requirements, regional restrictions, or Facebook access controls.

Why does a profile.php link work immediately?

In a URL such as profile.php?id=123, the number after id is already the Facebook numeric ID. Toolsly extracts it directly instead of requesting the public page.
