AAC to MP3

Re-encode an AAC or M4A file as a variable-bitrate MP3 using LAME. Useful when you have iTunes-style downloads or AAC podcasts that need to play on devices stuck with MP3-only support. Both raw .aac and .m4a (AAC in an MP4 container) are accepted. Conversion runs entirely in your browser via ffmpeg.wasm — nothing is uploaded. Expect a few seconds for a 5-minute song; longer files may take a minute or two.
